dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of using digital storytelling on motivation and learning strategies in foreign language teaching. This study was conducted with 20 students enrolled in the preparatory class to learn English as a foreign language for a year in 2018-2019 academic year in a state university in Turkey. Motivation scale and learning strategies scale were used to obtain data. According to the result, there was no significant distinction between digital storytelling and the use of learning strategies in foreign language teaching. This study indicates that the use of digital storytelling in foreign language teaching had no effect on the development of students’ use of learning strategies.tr_TR
