Ayaz İshaki'nin eserlerinde Ruslaştırma ve Hristiyanlaştırma

Abstract

Toplumu eğitme ve bilinçlendirme amacıyla eserler veren Ayaz İshakî’nin eserlerinde Tatar toplumunu “Ruslaştırma” ve “Hristiyanlaştırma” işlenen başlıca siyasî konular arasında yer almıştır. Çalışmamızda Ayaz İshakî’nin özellikle “Züleyha” piyesinin temasını teşkil eden Ruslaştırma ve Hristiyanlaştırma konusunu tam olarak değerlendirebilmemiz için Tatar toplumuna uygulanan Ruslaştırma ve Hristiyanlaştırma siyasetinin tarihçesine de yer verilmiştir. Çarlık Rusya’sının yüzyıllar boyu Tatar toplumu üzerinde bu konularda uyguladığı baskılar İshakî’nin eserlerinde bazen üstü örtülü, bazen açık bir şekilde hicvedilmiştir.

Ayaz Ishaki published for the popular development of knowledge, with the aim of educating the people and awakening of public conscious-ness. In his works, he dealt with Russianization and Christianization of the Tatar population as a basic political theme.This study attempts to to evaluate the subject of Christianization and Russianization through the analysis of Ayaz Ishaki’s play “Züley-ha”. The study also handles the history of Christianization and Russia-nization policies that applied to the Tatar people. In the works of Ishaki, it is sometimes satirized apparently or indi-rectly that the Russian Tsardom oppressed the Tatar people for cen-turies.
