Özet
It is a known fact that some of the poets/writers, who have gained an important place through their various works in Turkish literature, also have some forgotten works that remain in the background. One of these names was Faruk Nafiz Camlibel, who, in addition to being at the forefront with his works of poetry, also published some works in theatre and novel genres. Apart from these works, Faruk Nafiz Camlibel also wrote a scenario called the Mermer Besik (Marble Cradle). This work of Camlibel, which is not included among his currently published works, has been mentioned in only one academic study so far. At the same time, there are a limited number of studies on the relationship between literature and cinema and literary reviews of scenario texts in Turkish literature. At this point, how to classify the scenario texts as genres in terms of literature science is another matter that should be focused on and discussed. In this article, we will examine the scenario titled the Mermer Besik by Faruk Nafiz Camlibel in terms of structure and content features, and we will try to contribute to the academic studies, in which the scenario texts are evaluated as literary works, as well as the studies carried on the author.
