| dc.description.abstract | This study investigates the impacts of high-frequency inputs on the firing dynamics of Hodgkin-Huxley neuron systems. The obtained results show that the average spiking rate of Hodgkin-Huxley neurons exhibits resonance-like behavior depending on the frequency of the high-frequency input. We also demonstrate that the Hodgkin-Huxley neurons fire in a specific range of high-frequency driving frequency. Finally, it is observed that this frequency range expands with raising the amplitude of the high-frequency input. | |
