Elmalılı Muhammet Hamdi Yazır'a nispet edilen Alfabetik İslâm Hukuku ve Fıkıh Istılahları Kâmûsu adlı esere ilişkin bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır'a nispet edilerek Sıtkı Gülle tarafından hazırlanan "Alfabetik İslâm Hukuku ve Fıkıh Istılahları Kâmûsu" adlı eserin gerçek müellifini ve eserin özgünlüğünü ortaya koymak adına hazırlanmıştır. Zira, eserin kime ait olduğu hususunda literatürde net bir görüş birliğinin bulunmaması, çalışmanın temel çıkış noktasını oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın amacı, eserin Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır'a ait olup olmadığını tespit etmek ve eserin ilmi özgünlüğünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda, karşılaştırmalı yöntem kullanılarak Yazır'ın yarım kalan "İslâm Hukuk Kamûsû" adlı el yazması nüshası ile beş cilt olarak neşredilen eser, içerik, üslup ve hacim yönünden detaylı bir şekilde karşılaştırılmış, Yazır'a ait el yazması nüshanın içerisinde bulunan terimlerin tamamının transkripsiyonuna yer verilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme ve karşılaştırmalar neticesinde, eserin üslup, içerik ve kaynak kullanımı açısından Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır'a ait olmadığı, eserin büyük çoğunluğunun Sıtkı Gülle tarafından ilaveler yapılarak neşredildiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Çalışma, bu yönüyle eserin yanlış müellif nispetini düzeltmeye katkı sağlamakta ve literatürde şimdiye kadar kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alınmamış bir konuya açıklık getirmektedir. Bu araştırmanın, İslâm Hukuku ve Fıkıh literatüründe doğru eser-müellif eşleştirmelerine katkı sağlayacağı ve gelecekte yapılacak benzer çalışmalara bir zemin oluşturacağı düşünülmektedir.

This study was prepared in order to reveal the real author and originality of the work titled "Alphabetical Dictionary of Islamic Law and Fıqh Terms" prepared by Sıtkı Gülle, attributed to Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır. Because, the lack of a clear consensus in the literature on who owns the work constituted the basic starting point of the study. The aim of the research is to determine whether the work belongs to Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır and to reveal the scientific originality of the work. In this contex, by using the comparative method, Yazır's unfinished manuscript copy titled "İslâm Hukuk Kamusu" and the work published in five volumes were compared in detail in terms of content, style and volume, and a transcription of all the terms found in Yazır's manuscript copy was included. As a result of the examination and comparisons, it was concluded that the work does not belong to Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır in terms of style, content and source usage, and that the majority of the work was published by Sıtkı Gülle with additions. In this respect, the study contributes to correcting the incorrect authorship attribution of the work and clarifies a subject that has not been comprehensively addressed in the literature so far. It is thought that this research will contribute to correct work-author matches in the literature of Islamic Law and Fiqh and will form the basis for similar studies to be conducted in the future.
