Relations Between Breast Height Diameter-Stump Diameter and Stump Height for Uludag Fir, Beech and Anatolian Black Pine Trees in Zonguldak-Ulus Forest Enterprize

Abstract

Uludag fir, beech and Anatolian black pine trees were measured to estimate their breast- height diameters (d1.30) based on stump diameters and stump diameter- stump height in Ulus Forest Enterprise, Drahna Management Unit. For each tree species, single and multiple regression equations were fitted. Among these regression models, the most suitable model was determinated according to coefficient of determination (R-2), standard error (Se) and F numbers. Using the models, single entry and double entry tables were constructed.
