Özet

In the last decade, some global, national and regional studies/initiatives have been carried out to halt and reverse land degradation. Sustainable De¬ velopment Goals (SDGs) provides a framework for the sustainability of these efforts. In this context; One of the indicators of current situation and subse¬ quent monitoring and evaluation within the scope of land degradation neutrality (LDN) approach studies is assessment and evaluation of land cover and land cover (LULC) changes. It is also important to evalu¬ ate and quantify land degradation on the basin basis, which is the smallest land unit of the countries. How¬ ever, within the scope of this monitoring and evalu¬ ation, the processing and interpretation of the avail¬ able data must be in an internationally valid method. In this study used to Collect Earth methodology, that multi-purpose land monitoring using remote sensing and Geographic information system integrated, for accurately estimating LULC change between 2000 and 2018 in Bartm River Basin. Overall, the article provides basic results which distribution of LULC classes according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), monitoring the current sta¬ tus and change of forest, pasture or woody vegeta¬ tion fields, LULC change between 2000-2018, habi¬ tat loss-gain (improvement-desertification). © 2021 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
