İnovasyon Eğitiminin Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin İnovasyon Davranışlarına ve Yaratıcılıklarına Etkisi: Yarı Deneysel Araştırma

Abstract

İnovasyon eğitiminin hemşirelik öğrencilerinin inovasyon yetkinliklerine, yenilikçi davranışlarına ve yaratıcılıklarına etkisini belirlemektir. Müdahale ve kontrol gruplu ön test-son test tasarımında randomize olmayan deneysel desende olan bu araştırmanın örneklemini Bartın Üniversitesi Hemşirelik Bölümü’ne kayıtlı öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Örneklemde 78 (müdahale grubu=38, kontrol grubu=40) öğrenci yer almıştır. Verileri Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Yenilikçi Davranış Ölçeği (YDÖ), Bireysel İnovasyon Yetkinlikleri Ölçeği (BİYÖ) ve Bireysel Yaratıcılık Ölçeği (BYÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Dönemin ilk haftası öğrencilere ön test formu uygulanmıştır. Ardından müdahale grubuna 12 haftalık “Hemşirelikte İnovasyon” eğitimi verilmiş, kontrol grubu ise içerisinde inovasyon ile ilgili herhangi bir konu olmayan bir ders almıştır. Her iki gruba da 14. haftada son test formu uygulanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 26.0 programında değerlendirilmiştir. Müdahale grubundaki öğrencilerin YDÖ, BİYÖ ve BYÖ ön test toplam puan ortalaması, son testte anlamlı bir şekilde artmıştır (p<,001). Kontrol grubunda anlamlı bir değişiklik gözlenmemiştir (p>,00). Araştırmada öğrencilerin yenilikçi davranışları arttıkça bireysel inovasyon yetkinliklerinin ve yaratıcılıkları artmıştır (p<,001). Ayrıca öğrencilerin inovasyon yetkinlikleri arttıkça yaratıcılıkları da artmıştır (p<,001). İnovasyon eğitimi toplam varyansın %37’sinin inovasyon yetkinliklerini, yenilikçi davranışlarını ve yaratıcılıkları tarafından açıklanmıştır (p<.001). Araştırmada verilen inovasyon eğitimi müdahale grubundaki öğrencilerin yenilikçi davranış, bireysel inovasyon yetkinliği ve yaratıcılığı düzeylerini arttırmıştır.

To determine the effect of innovation education on innovation competencies, innovative behaviors and creativity of nursing students. The sample of this study, which is a non-randomized experimental design with pre-test-post-test design with intervention and control groups, consists of students registered in the Department of Nursing Bartın University. The sample included 78 students (intervention group=38, control group=40). Data were collected with the Introductory Information Form, Innovative Behavior Scale (IBS), Individual Innovation Competencies Scale (IICS) and Individual Creativity Scale (ICS). The pre-test form was applied to the students in the first week of the semester. Then, the intervention group was given a 12-week "Innovation in Nursing" education, while the control group took a course that did not include any topic related to innovation. The post-test form was applied to both groups in the 14th week. The data were evaluated in the SPSS 26.0 program. The total mean scores of the students in the intervention group in the IBS, IICS and ICS pre-test and post-test increased significantly (p<.001). No significant change was observed in the control group (p>.00). In the study, as the students' innovative behaviors increased, their individual innovation competencies and creativity increased (p<.001). In addition, as the students' innovation competencies increased, their creativity also increased (p<.001). Innovation training explained 37% of the total variance by their innovation competencies, innovative behaviors and creativity (p<.001). The innovation training provided in the study increased the innovative behavior, individual innovation competency and creativity levels of the students in the intervention group.
