Ivan Illich?in Deschooling Society adlı eserinin Türkçe çevirisi üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Ivan Illich?in Okulsuz Toplum adlı eseri ve eserin Türkçe çevirisi kullanılan dil bakımından analiz edilmiştir Yapılan analiz sırasında Okulsuz Toplum adlı eser kaynak dilin anlam dünyası bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca, kaynak ve erek metin kullanılan dil yapısına, üslubuna ve diğer dil içeriklerine göre incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Dil içerikleri bakımından yapılan değerlendirmede kalıp ifadelerin kullanımı, metnin söz varlığı, yazım kurallarının kullanımı araştırılmıştır. Böylece okurun gözünden her iki metne de bakıldığı gibi söz konusu metinler aynı zamanda dil açısından incelenerek karşılaşılan olumlu ve olumsuz durumlar ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this study, Ivan Illich's Deschooling Societyand the Turkish translation of the work were analyzed in terms of the language used. During the analysis carried out, the text in question was first assessed in terms of the semantic world of the source language. In addition, the source and target texts were examined according to the language structure, style and other language contents used by the author and translator. In the evaluation of the language contents the use of stereotypes, vocabulary and the use of spelling rules in the source and target texts were investigated. Thus, both source and target texts were approached in terms of the reader. Besides both texts were examined in terms of the language and positive and negative situations encountered were tried to be revealed.
