In forestry practice in Turkey, plan implementation results could not lead to the desired situation. Besides some technical and natural troubles, the problem is mainly caused by conflictions between forestry management and forest villagers. Nowadays, those conflictions were analyzed and it was understood that forestry studies cannot be successful without implementing confliction management methods. With this study, it was aimed to recognize the forest villagers, determine the factors affecting their crime awareness, understand the reasons of conflictions and obtain some tips in order to eliminate those confliction reasons. With this purpose, 2 prepared survey forms were given to individuals and forest villagers, and general results were searched by evaluating the data via various statistical methods. © 2018 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
