Gebelik Sürecinde Deneyimlenen Depremin Anne Sağlığı ve Doğum Sonuçlarına Etkisi: Derleme

Abstract

Bu derlemede, gebelik sürecinde deneyimlenen depremin anne sağlığı ve doğum sonuçlarına etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Ülkemiz başta olmak üzere dünyada depremler, öngörülemez olması, geniş çapta yıkıma ve tahribata neden olan en yıkıcı doğal afetlerden birisidir. Depremlerde bazı nüfus grupları yüksek risk altındadır. Bu risk gruplarından birisi olan gebeler, depremlere ve depremlerden sonra devam eden artçılara karşı hem kendilerini hem de dünyaya gelecek olan bebeklerini korumak ve iyilik hallerini sürdürmek adına daha fazla gayret göstermektedir. Zihinsel stres ve fiziksel travma, anne sağlığı ve fetüs sağlığı üzerinde ciddi etkilere sebep olmaktadır. Sağlık hizmetlerine erişmede yaşanan güçlük, oluşan hava, su ve çevre kirliliği gibi çevresel etkenlere de maruz kalmak bu etkilerin boyutunu arttırmaktadır. Bu etkiler; düşük, ölü doğum, erken doğum, düşük doğum ağırlıklı, preterm doğum gibi olumsuz doğum sonuçlarından oluşmaktadır. Bu olumsuz doğum sonuçları da çoklu morbiditelerle paralel hareket ederek benzer prevalanslara sahip olmaktadır. Geçirilen bu olumsuz süreç, hem anne sağlığını hem de çocuk sağlığı üzerinde olumsuz etki bırakmaktadır. Anne sağlığı ve doğum süreçlerinde yaşanan bu olumsuz sorunlarla baş edebilmek için; doğum ve kadın hastalıkları hemşireleri deprem gibi afet durumlarında dezavantajlı grup olan gebeleri holistik olarak değerlendirmeli ve hemşirelik süreçlerini aktif kullanarak bakım verici, eğitici ve danışmanlık rollerini kapsamında etkin rol alması önerilmektedir.

This review aims to examine the effects of the earthquake experienced during pregnancy on maternal health and birth outcomes. Earthquakes are one of the most devastating natural disasters in the world, especially in our country, because they are unpredictable, damage basic infrastructure, and cause widespread destruction and destruction. Some population groups are at high risk from earthquakes. One of these risk groups is pregnant women, who make more efforts to protect both themselves and their unborn babies against earthquakes and the aftershocks that continue after earthquakes, and to maintain their well-being. Mental stress and physical trauma have serious effects on maternal and fetal health. Difficulty in accessing health services and exposure to environmental factors such as air, water and environmental pollution increase the extent of these effects. These effects consists of negative birth outcomes such as miscarriage, stillbirth, premature birth, low birth weight, and preterm birth. These negative birth outcomes also act in parallel with multiple morbidities and have similar prevalence. This negative process has a negatife impact on both maternal and child health. In order to cope with these negative problems experienced in maternal health and birth processes is recommended to obstetrics and gynecology nurses should holistically evaluate pregnant women, who are a disadvantaged group in disaster situations such as earthquakes, to take an active role in the caregiving, educational and consultancy roles by actively using nursing processes.
