Hemşirelik ve tıp öğrencilerinin çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumları

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelik ve tıp fakültesi öğrencilerinin çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumlarını ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Materyal Metod: Kesitsel tipte tanımlayıcı araştırma Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi hemşirelik ve tıp öğrencileriyle (S=735) gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği (ÇTÖ) ile toplandı. Veriler SPSS 10.0 Paket Programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin ÇTÖ’den ortalama 82.25±1.02 puan aldıkları saptandı. Tıp öğrencilerinin (p=0.000) çevre sorunlarına daha duyarlı olduğu belirlendi. Çevreye duyarlı olmanın (p=0.000), sağlık çalışanlarının çevreye karşı duyarlı olmaları gerektiğini düşünmenin (p=0.000), ekonomik durumun (p=0.010) öğrencilerin çevresel duyarlılığını etkilediği bulundu. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin çevresel duyarlılıklarının yüksek olduğu ve onların çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumlarında demografik özelliklerinin etkili olduğu belirlendi.The purpose of this study was to determine nursing department and medical faculty students’ attitudes towards environmental problems and affecting factors. Material and Method:This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with Nursing and Medical students’ (N= 735) Bulent Ecevit University. Data were collected by Personal Information Form and Environmental Attitudes Scale (EAS). Data were evaluated by using SPSS 16.0 Packet Program. Results:It was determined that students were had scored average of 82.25±1.02 form EAS. It was determined that medical students (p=0.000) was more sensitive towards environmental problems. It was found that being sensitive to the environment (p=0.000), thought to be sensitive to the environment of health workers (p=0.000), economic level (p=0.010) were affected the environmental sensitivity of students. Conclusion:It was determined that the students' environmental awareness was high and their environmental attitudes were affected by demographic factors.
