Okul yöneticilerinin mizah yönelimler

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Booth-Butterfield ve Booth-Butterfield (1991) tarafından geliştirilen Mizah Yönelimleri Ölçeğini Türkçe’ye uyarlayarak okul yöneticilerinin mizah yönelimlerini belirlemektir. Ölçeğin Türkçe’ye uyarlanması ve geçerlik-güvenirlik çalışmaları SPSS ve Mplus programları aracılığıyla yapılmıştır. DFA sonucunda Mizah Yönelimleri Ölçeği’nin Ki-kare (x2 /df) değeri 2,00; RMSEA= .06, SRMR=.06, CFI=.93, TLI= .91 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılık katsayısı .84 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları tamamlandıktan sonra 17 maddeden ve tek boyuttan oluşan ölçek Bartın il merkezindeki 268 okul müdüründen gelen veriler istatistiksel işlemlere tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre okul yöneticilerinin mizah yönelimleri yaş, cinsiyet, kurum türü ve branşa göre farklılaştığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca, okul yöneticilerinin mizah yönelimlerinin yeterli olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Eğitim kurumlarının sadece resmi yapıları bulunmamaktadır. Buradan hareketle iletişim ve etkileşim konusunda önemli bir etkiye sahip olan mizahın da göz ardı edilmemesi gerekmektedir.

The main goal of this study is to adapt humour orientations scale developed by BoothButterfield and Booth-Butterfield (1991) into Turkish and determine humour orientations of Turkish school administrators. Turkish adaptation, validity and reliability studies of the scale have been made through the program mplus, and SPSS. Fit indices of the humour orientation scale are as the following; CFA Chi-square (x2 /df) value of 2.00; RMSEA= .06, SRMR=.06, CFI=.93, TLI= .91. The internal consistency coefficient of the scale is .84. Validity and reliability studies showed that the scale consisted of single dimension containing 17 items. The data from 268 school principals in the city of Bartin was examined. According to the findings, school administrators’ humour orientation does not differentiate according to age, gender, institution type and the branch variables. The result of research suggested that the school administrators’ humour orientation was not adequate. Thus the importance of humour should not be ignored.
