1 NUMARALI KARAMAN AHKÂM DEFTERİ'NİN ŞEKİL VE İÇERİK YÖNÜNDEN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Ahkâm Defterleri, temelde halkın şikâyet ve problemlerini çözüme kavuşturmak ve adaleti tesis etmek amacıyla düzenlenmiştir. Osmanlı bürokrasisinde 16 eyalet adına düzenlenen bu defterlerin şekil ve içerik yönünden değerlendirilmesi ve tanıtılması gerek tarihi çalışmalara gerekse bölge üzerine yapılacak akademik çalışmalara katkı sağlaması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada 1 numaralı Karaman Ahkâm Defteri'nin fiziksel durumu, dil ve diplomatik özellikleri, muhtevası ve içerdiği belge sayıları detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Çalışma sırasında elde edilen veriler gerektiğinde tablo haline getirilip metin içerisinde verilmiş, böylece çalışmaya istatistiksel katkı sağlanılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma neticesinde defterdeki hükümlerin muhtevası, hükümlerin aylara ve yıllara göre dağılımları ile defterde bahsi geçen yerleşim birimleri de tespit edilerek bölgenin coğrafi sınırları hakkında da bilgilere ulaşılmıştır.
