dc.description.abstractIn this study, a 15-years of observation period is examined and modelled by means of using meteorological data and climate parameters such as pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed, sunshine duration and solar radiation level of 13 provinces in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. Linear regression analysis was used in modeling climate parameters. With the use of the determined models, it has been determined that i) it can help the studies to be carried out on the effects of climate conditions on the environment and energy, ii) predictions can be made regarding the climate structures of the said provinces for the coming years, iii) solar energy stands out as an alternative energy potential for the cities studied.
