MANASTIRLI MEHMET RIFAT'IN TUHFETU'L-İSLÂM'I

Abstract

Biyografi geleneğinin önemli bir bölümünü teşkil eden ve İslam tarih yazıcılığının da temelini oluşturan kısasü'l?enbiyâ ve siyer yazıcılığına dair Türk edebiyatında pek çok eser kaleme alınmıştır. Bu konuda eseri bulunan edebî şahsiyetlerden biri de XIX. yüzyılın önemli devlet adamı ve yazarlarından Manastırlı Mehmet Rıfat'tır. Bu çalışmada Mehmet Rifat'ın Tuhfetü'l?İslâm adlı manzum eseri incelenmekte ve eserin bilim dünyasına tanıtılması amaçlanmaktadır.    Qisas al?Anbiya and the Siyer writing represents an important chapter of the Turkish literature biography tradition and mean while forms the basis of the İslamic history writing. In this study are briefly given informations about the birth, the evolution and the most important works of the " Qisas al?Anbiya and Siyer" wisdom. After a briefing of Manastırlı Mehmet Rifat's life and work, the thesis presents the "Tuhfetü'l İslam" poem's verse, versification form, rhyme language and style feature through the content care and, by the given couplet examples, tries to introduce the piece of work.
