Blockchain Design in Agricultural Food Supply Chain: Example of Marketplace Law in Turkey

Abstract

In this article, it is studied on fundamental principles of blockchain technology which is one of the rapidly developing technology and how to benefit from this technologies in a supply chain. As part of marketplace law on the agenda of Turkey, the aim of this study is to simplify audit and recording systems by integrating blockchain technology into the supply chain management process of fruits and vegetables without having to need any intermediary. In addition to that, it provides product tracking and transparency of content knowledge during the whole process from producer to consumer. Also, the verification process provided by blockchain technology enhances the reliability of agricultural food products. Proposed this study is developable exemplary due to being adaptive to different supply chains.

Bu makalede, son yıllarda hızla gelişmekte olan teknolojilerden biri olan blokzincir teknolojisinin temel prensipleri ve bir tedarik zincirinde bu teknolojiden nasıl yararlanılacağı üzerine çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'nin gündeminde olan hal yasası uygulaması kapsamında sebze ve meyvelerin bir aracıya ihtiyaç duymadan tedarik zinciri yönetim sürecine blokzinciri teknolojisi entegre edilerek denetim ve kayıt sistemini kolaylaştırmaktır. Bununla birlikte üreticiden kullanıcıya kadar olan süreç boyunca ürün takip izlenebilirliğinin ve içerik bilgisinin şeffaflığı sağlanır. Ayrıca blokzinciri teknolojisinin sağladığı doğrulama süreci, tarımsal gıdaların güvenilirliğini de artırır. Önerilen bu çalışma, farklı tedarik zincirlerine uyarlanabilir olmasıyla geliştirilebilir bir örnek niteliğindedir.
