The purpose of this study is to examine the investigation of the relationship between the attitude towards dance and happiness levels of individuals attending dance education and to determine the differentiation status of attitudes towards dance and happiness in terms of demographic variables. In the research, Descriptive (Figurative) and Relational Search Model was used. The research group consists of 228 (132 women, 96 men) people who participated in the dance education in Bartin Dance Group in April and May 2020 and were selected by simple random sampling method. As a data collection tool, Personal Information Form, Attitude Scale Towards Dance (ASTD) and Oxford Happiness Scale Short Form (OHS) were used. In research findings, a significant difference was found in OHS, ASTD and sub-dimensions in terms of gender variable (p<0.05). These significant differences are in favor of female participants in terms of ASTD and male participants in terms of OHS. In another finding, a low level positive and significant correlation was found in OHS, ASTD and sub-dimensions in terms of age variable (p<0.05). Moreover, a significant difference was found in OHS in terms of perceived income variable (p<0.05). This significant difference is in favor of the high income group between high and low, high and middle income groups. Furthermore, a significant difference was found in ASTD and awareness sub-dimension in terms of education status variable (p<0.05). These significant differences are in favor of the undergraduate group between undergraduate and high school and below groups. On the other hand, a significant difference was found between the frequency of participation in leisure activities variable and the total score averages of OHS, the total score averages and sub-dimensions of ASTD. Finally, a low level positive correlation was found between the total score averages of OHS and the total score averages of ASTD, avoidance and motivation sub-dimensions. As a result, it was determined that as the attitude towards dance levels of the participants increased, their happiness levels increased.
