Green city as smart environment strategy

Abstract

Smart city components are "smart economy, smart people, smart governance, smart transportation, smart environment, and smart life." Smart environment taken into consideration in this scope attracts attention to smart resource management and sustainable urban planning along with green infrastructure and energy-based technical analyses with regard to environment and quality of life. Green city and green urbanism planning approaches have been taken into consideration as smart environment strategy within the scope of this study. Indicators and criteria related with smart city and smart environment have been examined in an integrated manner within the framework of ecological, social, and economic benefit understanding. © 2021 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
