Methiyelerde mübalağayı güçlendirmeye yardımcı olan bir teknik üzerine tespit ve değerlendirmeler

Abstract

Kaside, klasik Türk şiirinde övgü ve yergi gibi belirli bir maksat doğrultusunda kaleme alınması yönüyle dikkat çeken bir nazım şeklidir. Şairlerin, muhayyile güçlerinin imkânlarıyla kasidelerin methiye beyitlerinde tesis ettikleri mübalağalı söylemleri mana bakımından pekiştirip güçlendirmek amacıyla uygulandığını tespit ettiğimiz bir teknik bu çalışmanın hareket noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu teknik; methiyelerin övgü beyitlerinde, övülen şahsiyetin herhangi bir vasfına yönelik ortaya konan olumlu ve mübalağalı bir iddianın kapsam dairesinin bir nükte etrafında daraltılmış gösterilerek aslında bu yolla söz konusu iddianın mübalağa seviyesinin yükseltilmesine dayanır. Övgüyü hem bir nükte ile estetik bir söyleyiş kalıbına oturtma hem de anlam bakımından güçlendirmeye dayalı bu yöntemin örnek kullanımlarını tespit etmek amacıyla toplamda 695 kaside taranmış ve 79 beyit tespit edilmiştir. Bu beyitler, çalışmanın inceleme bölümünde dil malzemesi, yapı ve muhteva yönlerinden detaylı olarak incelenmek suretiyle şairlerin bu övgü tarzından yararlanma yönleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda; söz konusu övgü yönteminin kullanımında takip edildiği sonucuna varılan uygulama aşamaları ve bu aşamaların ikincisinde, ilk aşamada yapılandırılan mübalağayı nükteye dayalı güçlendirmek amacıyla seçildikleri tespit edilen ayrıştırma unsurları ele alınmıştır. Bu övme tarzında, başlangıçta kurulan mübalağanın nükteli bir ayrıştırma adımı ile pekiştirilmesi; beyitte ilk söylenen sözden bir nükteye dayanarak vazgeçer gibi yapılıp ardından tekrar ve daha güçlü bir şekilde, ilk sözdeki duygu ve düşünce bağlamına dönüş anlamına gelen rücu sanatının farklı bir uygulaması olarak değerlendirilmeye müsait görünmektedir.

Qasida is a form of poetry in classical Turkish literature, employed for specific purposes, such as praise and criticism. This study begins by identifying a technique used by poets to meaningfully reinforce the exaggerated discourses established in the eulogy couplets of qasidas, using their imagination. This technique is predicated on the observation that, in the praise couplets of eulogies, the scope of a positive and exaggerated claim about any quality of the praised individual is shown to be narrowed around a witticism, thereby increasing the level of exaggeration of the claim in question. To identify exemplary uses of this method, which relies on embedding praise in an aesthetic expression pattern that incorporates wit and strengthens its meaning, a total of 695 qasidas were examined, resulting in the identification of 79 verses. In the analysis section of this study, these couplets are scrutinised in terms of their language, structure, and content, to determine how poets apply this style of praise. In this context, the application stages followed in employing this praise method are analysed. In the second of these stages, the elements of decomposition identified as having been chosen to reinforce the hyperbole established in the first stage through wit are examined. In this style of praise, the initial exaggeration is reinforced with a witty differentiation step; it can be evaluated as a distinct application of the art of rucu, which involves relinquishing the first word stated in the couplet and returning to the context of emotion and thought expressed in the first word with greater intensity
