The New Contributions to Poplar Pests of Bartin

Abstract

The study was conducted in Bartin between 2009 and 2011. This study contributes to the data on poplar tree pest species in Bartin In the study a total of 7 species belonging to 5 families of 4 orders were identified. All the determined 7 species Saperda populnea, Melonophila picta, Amphipyra berbera, Scoliopteryx libatrix, Pristiphora conjugata, Lygaeonematus compressicornis, Mordwilkoja vagabunda) are new records for Bartin. Of those, Amphipyra berbera was identified as a pest on poplar for the first time.
