Özet
Rehabilitation is an important process that plays a vital role in the field of health and aims to improve the quality of life of individuals. Rehabilitation for individuals with physical limitations can help them regain functional independence and maintain their daily lives more effectively. Especially elderly and bedridden patients may need to perform exercises remotely. Still, there are not many options for patients who want to continue rehabilitation alone and in the comfort of their home. In this study, a portable, single-degree-of-freedom robot manipulator suitable for home use was developed for shoulder rotation exercises. The PID control method was used in the control of the robot developed in the pedal structure. The robot can be controlled by connecting to devices such as mobile phones, computers, and tablets via Bluetooth protocol. With the developed robotic system, patients who need shoulder rehabilitation can perform the necessary exercises at home and manage and follow the treatment processes through their mobile devices. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
