Propagation with Chipping Technique in Leucojum aestivum L.

Abstract

Chipping technique is a method for use to propagate bulb at high amounts. This method is used to propagategeophyte species that compose well basal plate such as Leucojum, Galanthus, Fritillaria, Narcissus,Chionodoxa, Nerine, Scilla, Sternbergia. This study aimed to obtain bulbil from Leucojum aestivum by chippingtechnique with application of different size divided bulbs and bulb sizes. As a result, application of dividing intofour pieces of large bulbs (11/12 cm) were found to be effective.Parçacık (soğanı dilimlere ayırma-chipping) yöntemi, soğan çoğaltımı amacıyla kullanılan bir yöntemdir. Buyöntem, iyi bazal plaka oluşturan, Leucojum, Galanthus, Fritillaria, Narcissus, Chionodoxa, Nerine, Scilla,Sternbergia gibi geofit cinslerinde uygulanmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, Leucojum aestivum L'de chipping tekniğiile üretimi kapsamında farklı soğan büyüklükleri ve bölme uygulaması ile soğancık elde edilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Sonuç olarak geniş çevre büyüklüğüne sahip 11/12 cm'lik soğanlarda, 4'e bölme uygulamasının etkili olduğutespit edilmiştir.
