Özet
This study aims to analyze the impact of ICT usage on labor demand in the Turkish manufacturing industry. The study employs the usage of CRM, SCM, and ERP as variables for ICT usage. Analyses were conducted using the System GMM estimator for the period between 2009 and 2021, encompassing both the manufacturing industry and its sub-sectors categorized by the technology intensity of the manufacturing industry. According to the results of the analysis, it was inferred that ICT usage positively affected the labor demand, and the compensation mechanism was confirmed both in the manufacturing industry and in other sectors with low, medium and high technology intensity.
