Nietzsche'nin Spinoza'ya Yönelik Eleştirisi: "Güç İstemi" Contra "Conatus"

Abstract

Nietzsche pek çok metninde Spinoza'dan övgüyle söz etmiş ve onu felsefi selefi olarak kabul etmiştir. Böyle olmakla birlikte, Spinoza'yı pek çok farklı konuda hararetle eleştirmekten de geri kalmamıştır. Bu çalışmada, Nietzsche'nin Spinoza'nın güç anlayışına yönelik eleştirileri ve bu eleştirilerin gerekçeleri, Nietzsche'nin 'güç istemi' kavramı ile Spinoza'nın 'conatus' kavramı merkeze alınarak ortaya konulmaya ve söz konusu eleştiri ve gerekçelerin yerinde olup olmadıkları anlaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.

Nietzsche had numerous times spoken in praise of Spinoza and recognized him as his philosophical precursor. Nevertheless, he had also vehemently criticized Spinoza on many different cases. This paper will try to bring forward Nietzsche's critique of Spinoza about the latter's conception of power by paying a special attention to Nietzsche's concept of 'the will to power' and Spinoza's concept of 'conatus' and to understand whether the mentioned critique has been well grounded and accurately directed.
