Müfîdî Divânı’nda Meclis Kültürü ve Unsurları Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

Asırlar süren klasik Türk edebiyatının ana muhtevası, sevgili ve âşık üzerine temellendirilmiştir. Bu temel, şairlerimiz tarafından farklı ele alış biçimlerini doğurmuştur. Ele alınan konu içerisinde yazım gereği mazmunlar ile oluşturulan edebî türler, akıllara “klasik edebiyat, hayatın neresinde?” sorusunu getirmiş böylece edebiyat ve toplum, bilhassa klasik Türk edebiyatının toplum konusunu işleyişi sorgulanmıştır. Bu sorgulayış araştırmacılar tarafından klasik edebiyat araştırmalarında, konu çalışmalarını doğurmuştur. Araştırmacıların ortak bulgularından hareketle şu sonuca varmak mümkündür: Şairler, toplumu klasik şiir anlayışıyla ele alırken sanattan uzaklaşmamış, sanat içerisinde kültürel hayatı harmanlayarak vermişlerdir. Bu çalışmada klasik edebiyatta toplumsal hayatın kullanımına bir örnek olarak, XVIII. Yüzyıl şairlerinden Müfîdî İbrâhîm Efendi Divânı ele alınmıştır. Müfîdî Divânı’nda kültürel hayat, meclis kültürüne ait mefhumlar üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Meclise ait unsurlar; bezmin kuralları ve özellikleri, bezm erkânı, bezmde kullanılan araçlar, mûsikî ve mûsikî makamları şairin eserinde toplumsal hayata açılan bir pencere görevini görmüştür. Çalışmada meclise ait sözcükler, Müfîdî Divânı içerisinden taranarak, toplumsal hayat ile iç içe olan kavramlar çalışmaya konu edilmiştir. Ele alınan çalışmada XVIII. yüzyıl şairi Müfîdî’nin de diğer klasik edebiyat şairleri gibi topluma sırtını dönmediği, oluşturduğu temel aşk üçgeninde toplumsal unsurları yarattığı alemi açıklamada araç olarak kullandığı anlaşılmaktadır. Şairin eserinde bezme dair işlediği kavramları çeşitlendirmesi ve kullandığı kavramların toplumsal hayatın parçası olması, bulunan bulguları destekler niteliktedir. The main content of classical Turkish literature, which spans centuries, is based on the themes of the lover and the beloved. This foundation has led to various approaches by poets. In the context of this subject, literary genres created using mazmuns (literary tropes) raise the question, "Where does classical literature fit into life?" Thus, the relationship between literature and society, especially the treatment of societal themes in classical Turkish literature, has been a subject of inquiry. This investigation has led to the emergence of thematic studies in classical literature research. Based on the common findings of scholars, it is possible to conclude that poets, while addressing society through the classical poetry framework, did not distance themselves from art but instead blended cultural life within their artistic works. In this study, as an example of the use of social life in classical literature, the Divan of the 18th-century poet Müfîdî İbrâhîm Efendi is examined. In the Divan of Müfîdî, cultural life is assessed through concepts related to meclis (gathering) culture. Elements of the meclis—its rules and characteristics, its etiquette, tools used in the meclis, music, and musical modes—serve as a window to societal life in the poet's work. In the study, words related to the meclis are identified from the Divan of Müfîdî, and concepts intertwined with social life are analyzed. The study concludes that, like other classical literature poets, Müfîdî, the 18th-century poet, did not turn his back on society, but rather used the basic love triangle he created as a tool to explain his world, integrating social elements into it. The variety of concepts related to the meclis in the poet's work and the fact that the concepts used are part of societal life support the findings of the study.
