Kültürel miras ve koruma bağlamında Uşak tarihi kent merkezi yayalaştırma projesi

Abstract

Kentlerin tarihi çevreleri geçmişteki toplumların sosyo-ekonomik yapısı, yaşam felsefesi, estetik duyarlılığına ilişkin detayları yansıtan; mekansal kullanımlarıyla tarihe tanıklık ve insanların anılarında yer etmiş alanlardır. Bu alanlar kentsel konumlarının değerli olması ve ortaya çıkan yeni kentsel mekan ihtiyaçları için elverişli olmaları sebebiyle son yıllarda daha da önemli hale gelmişlerdir. Kültürel sürekliliğin sağlanması, kültürel birikimi oluşturan tarihi çevrelerin işlevsel dönüşümlerle korunup kullanmasıyla gerçekleşebilir. Bu düşünce kentin odak noktaları durumunda olan tarihi merkezlerin özgün dokusunu kaybetmemesi açısından da önem taşımaktadır. Sosyal iletişimin yer aldığı, kültürel ve ticari aktivitelerin gerçekleştiği tarihi mekanlar yaya akışı ve hareketliliğin yaratılması ile aktif bir sosyal mekan yaratacaktır. Kültürel olarak kent merkezlerinin yeniden canlandırılması için geliştirilen stratejiler, insanların değişen ihtiyaçlarına ve isteklerine karşılık verecektir. Bu stratejiler geniş kitlelere kullanım alanı sağlaması bakımından da önemlidir. Çalışmanın ana materyalini Uşak tarihi kent merkezi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada alanın kent içindeki mekansal konumu, görsel ve yapısal değeri, geçmişteki önemi ve yeniden düzenlenmesine yönelik değerlendirmeler yapılacaktır. Çalışmada sörvey, leke plan, kesin proje, skeç, detay ve üç boyutlu görsellerden oluşan peyzaj tasarım projesi oluşturulmuştur. Projenin çizimi ve sunumunda AutoCad 2014, Photoshop CS5, SketchUp ve Lumion yazılımlarından yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Uşak Kenti çarşı kültüründe, bulunduğu konum ve taşıdığı değerler ile önemli bir yeri olan tarihi kent merkezinin günümüz koşullarına uyarlanarak yeniden geliştirilmesinin, alanın mekan ve yaşam kalitesini artıracağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Historical places of the cities reflect the socio-economic structure of the society in the past history, philosophy of life and the details of aesthetic sensibility. They are witness of the history and people's memories. Theseareas have become more important in recent years because of favorable urban location and new urban space needs. Ensuring cultural continuity can be realized by using the functional transformation of the historical environment which preserved cultural heritage. This opinion is also important in case of losing the original texture of the historical center of the city's focal points. The historical places there are social communication, cultural and commercial activities. They will create an active social space and the creation of pedestrian flow and mobility. Developed strategy for the revitalization of the city as a cultural center will respond to people's changing needs and requirements. This strategy is also important in terms of providing areas for wide audience. The main material of this study consists of Usak historical city center. The study is about spatial position of the historical city center in urban, it’s visual and textural value and it’s past importance and reorganization. The survey, stains plan, final project, sketches, details and landscape design project consists of a three-dimensional image is created in the study. AutoCAD 2014, Photoshop CS5, Sketch Up and Lumion software were used for drawings and presentation of the project. It is clear that historical city center of the Usak city which is important for bazaar culture and location value will be developed; place and life quality will increase thanks to the adaptation of the area for today's conditions.
