Mesleki eğitim merkezlerinde yaşanan sorunlar ve çözüm önerilerinin yönetici,öğretmen, işveren ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Mesleki eğitim, son zamanlarda etkinliği artmış olan eğitim dallarının başında gelmektedir. Yaşanan sanayi ve teknolojik değişimler iş gücü piyasasında ihtiyaç duyulan çalışan profilini de değiştirmektedir. Artık ihtiyaç duyulan çalışan özellikleri var olması gereken ilgi ve yeteneğin yanında, kendini sürekli güncelleme, bilgilerini arttırarak belgelendirme, teknolojiyi takip ederek işine yansıtabilmeyi gerektirmektedir. Tüm bu özelliklerin bir arada sağlanması için; meslek dalının bireyin ilgi ve ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda seçilerek, mesleki anlamda teorik ve pratik eğitimin tamamlanması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı mesleki eğitim merkezinde okuyan çırak öğrenci, mesleki eğitim merkezine öğrenci gönderen işveren-usta öğretici ve mesleki eğitim merkezinde görev yapan yönetici-öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre mesleki eğitim merkezlerinde yaşanan sorunlar ve çözüm önerilerini belirlemek ve değerlendirmektir. Nitel araştırma tekniklerine uygun olrak yapılmış araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Zonguldak Mesleki Eğitim Merkezinde eğitim gören 50 öğrenci, mesleki eğitim merkezine öğrenci gönderen farklı branşlardan 25 işveren-usta öğretici ve mesleki eğitim merkezinde görev yapan beş yönetici, 15 öğretmen toplam 95 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; mesleki eğitim merkezinde okuyan çırak öğrenciler; aile, işveren ve çalışma şartları gibi nedenlerden dolayı çalışma hayatına uyum sağlamakta güçlük çektikleri anlaşılmaktadır. İşverenler değişen çırak öğrenci profillerine uyum sağlamakta zorlandıkları, mesleki eğitim merkezlerinde öğrenci sorunlarının çözümüne ve gelişimlerine yönelik çalışmalar yaptıkları görülmüştür. Ancak mevcut atölyelerin durumu ve ekipman eksiklerinden dolayı yetersiz kaldıkları, Devletin mesleki eğitime vermiş olduğu önemin arttığı ve bu yönde çalışmalar yapıldığı anlaşılmıştır.

Vocational education is one of the leading branches of education which has recently increased its effectiveness. The industrial and technological changes experienced also change the employee profile needed in the labor market. In addition to the required interest and talent, the employee features required to update itself continuously, to increase their knowledge, certification, to follow the technology requires to be able to reflect. In order to provide all these features together; the theoretical and practical training in the professional sense should be completed by selecting the profession in line with the interests and needs of the individual. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the problems experienced in vocational education centers and their solutions according to the opinions of the apprentice students studying in the vocational education center, the employer-master trainer who send the students to the vocational education center and the manager-teachers working in the vocational education center. The study group consisted of 50 students studying at Zonguldak Vocational Training Center, 25 employer-master instructors from different branches who sent students to the vocational training center and five managers and 15 teachers working in the vocational training center. As a result of the research; apprentice students in vocational training center; family, employer and working conditions. Employers were found to have difficulty adapting to changing apprentice student profiles, and in vocational training centers, they carried out studies for the solution and development of student problems. However, due to the lack of equipment and the state of the existing workshops, it was understood that the importance given to the vocational education by the State increased and studies were carried out in this direction.
