Beden eğitimi ve spor derslerinde kullanılan öğretim yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; beden eğitimi ve spor derslerinde kullanılan öğretim yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi, demografik değişkenler açısından değerlendirilerek görüşme raporlarına göre yorumlanmasıdır. Araştırma genel tarama modeline uygun olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmada yöntem olarak “nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin” aynı çalışma içerisinde birlikte kullanıldığı “karma yöntem desenlerinden biri olan açımlayıcı karma yöntem kullanılmıştır”. Bu doğrultuda beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin derslerde kullandıkları öğretim yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile yapılan bu çalışmanın nicel aşamasında genel tarama yönteminden faydalanılarak katılımcılara anket uygulaması yapılmış öğretmenlerin öğretim yöntemlerini kullanma sıklıkları belirlenerek, demografik değişkenler açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmama durumuna bakılmıştır. İkinci aşamaya geçildiğinde ise konuyu derinlemesine inceleyebilmek amacı ile nitel yöntem kullanılarak, görüşme tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma; nicel ve nitel olmak üzere iki ana aşamadan oluştuğundan, her iki aşamaya ait farklı katılımcı gurubu bulunmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın nicel aşamasında evreni; 2018-2019 öğretim yılı içerisinde, Bartın ilinde görev yapan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Evrenin tamamına ulaşıldığı için örneklem alma yoluna gidilmemiştir. Araştırmanın nitel aşamasına geçildiğinde ise çalışma grubu kartopu örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş olan 11’ i erkek, 4’ ü kadın olmak üzere 15 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada; beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerine ait demografik bilgileri belirleyebilmek amacı ile “kişisel bilgi formu” beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin derslerde kullandıkları öğretim yöntemlerini belirlemek amacı ile “öğretim yöntemi kullanma sıklığı anketi” ve elde edilen nicel sonuçları detaylandırabilmek amacı ile de “yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen, nicel verilerin analizi SPSS 23.0 versiyonu kullanılarak yapılmış değerlendirmelerinde betimsel analiz ile ki kare testinden faydalanılarak, nitel veriler ise içerik analizi yönteminden faydalanılarak çözümlenmiştir.

The purpose of this research; The aim of this course is to determine the teaching methods used in physical education and sports classes, to evaluate them in terms of demographic variables and to interpret them according to interview reports. There search was designed in accordance with the general survey model. In the research, exploratory mixed method, which is one of the mixed method patterns, was used in which “quantitative and qualitative research methods were used together in the same study. In this direction, in order to determine the teaching methods used by physical education and sports teachers in the quantitative stage of this study, the frequency of using questionnaires the participants by using general survey method was determined and whether or not they differ in terms of demographic variables. In the second stage, qualitative method was used to examine the subject in depth and interview technique was used. Research; As it consists of two main stages, quantitative and qualitative, there are differentgroups of participants belonging to both stages. In this direction, in the quantitative stage of thestudy; It consists of physical education and sports teachers working in Bartın province in 2018-2019 academic year. Since the entire universe was reached, sampling was not taken. When the qualitative phase of the study was started, the study group consisted of 15 physical education and sports teachers (11 maleand 4 female) selected by snowball sampling method. In the study; ''personal information form'' used in order to determine demographic information of physical education and sports teachers, “questionnaire of using teaching methods frequency'' to determine the teaching methods used by physical education and sports teachers and “semi-structured interview form'' used in order to elaborate the quantitative results obtained. The analysis of the quantitative data obtained from the study was conducted using SPSS 23.0 version, descriptive analysis and chi-square test were used, and qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis method.
