Kayseri ilinde mobilya sanayisinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin sosyo-ekonomik açıdan incelenmesi

Abstract

“Kayseri İlinde Mobilya Sanayisinde Faaliyet Gösteren İşletmelerin Sosyo-Ekonomik Açıdan İncelenmesi” adlı bu çalısma Bartın Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Orman Endüstri Mühendisligi Anabilim Dalı, Orman Endüstri Makineleri ve İsletme Programı’nda Yüksek Lisans Tezi olarak hazırlanmıstır. Sektörel olarak endüstriyel üretimler, üretim faktörlerinin süreklilik arz edecek uygunlugu ölçüsünde belirli bölgelerde daha fazla yogunlasmaktadır. Orman ürünleri sanayi alanında Kayseri, ülkemizde bu anlamda yogunlasmanın oldugu bir ildir. Ülkemizde orman ürünleri sanayisi ile ilgili veriler incelendiginde; bütün iller içerisinde, orman ürünleri sanayisinin temel hammadde kaynagı olan orman varlıgı bakımından alt sıralarda bulunması, nüfusunun azlıgı, yetismis teknik eleman kullanımının düsüklügü ve eski teknoloji kullanımın fazlalıgı gibi nedenlere ragmen, ülke genelinde orman sanayi ürünleri üretim ve ihracatında hep ilk sıralarda bulunmaktadır. Bu durumun sürdürülebilir olması, dünyada meydana gelen her türlü gelisimi yakından takip edebilmekle mümkün olacaktır. Ancak, dünya üzerindeki yeni olusumlar o kadar hızlı olmaktadır ki, bunları takip etmek ve ayak uydurmaya çalısmakta o kadar güçlesmektedir. Dünya’daki gelismeler bir tarafa, ülke içi degisimler ve olaylar da önemli sonuçların dogmasına neden olabilmektedir. Bilindigi üzere Kayseri, özelliklede son 20 yılda orman ürünleri sanayisinde özelliklede mobilya sektöründe büyük gelisim göstermistir. Özellikle sanayisinde markalasma ve kurumsallasmaya gitmistir. Bu sayede yurt dısına açılmıs ve yaptıgı ithalat ve ihracat oranlarıyla Türkiye ve dünyada dikkat çekmistir. Ardından 2001 yılı ekonomik krizi geçirmesine ragmen kriz sonrasında hızını hiç kesmemistir ve hep bir adım daha önde oldugunu göstermistir. Bu ve benzer ana etkileyici faktörlerin etkisi dikkate alınarak; Kayseri’deki mobilya sanayisinin mevcut durumu, hazırlanan anket formları sayesinde sanayiciler ile yüz yüze görüsülerek belirlenmis, sorunlar tespit edilerek çözüm önerileri sunulmaya çalısılmıstır. Elde edilen bulguların degerlendirilmesi neticesinde, çalısan sayısı bakımından isletmelere bakıldıgında isletmelerin büyüklügü arttıkça kapasite kullanım oranının arttıgı görülmektedir. Bununla baglantılı olarak ta çalıstırılan mesleki teknik eleman sayısının arttıgı belirlenmistir. Benzer sekilde mesleki standartları dikkate alan, çesitli kuruluslar ile yakın iliski içerisinde olan ve isletmecilik faaliyetlerindeki gelismeleri yakından takip ederek faaliyetine devam eden isletmelerin büyüklüklerinin de arttıgı anlasılmıstır. _sletme büyüklügü arttıkça, mobilya üretiminin arttıgı, Teknoloji kullanımının arttıgı, hammaddenin orman genel müdürlügü dısındaki kaynaklardan temin edildigi, piyasa kosullarından kaynaklanan kapasite yetersizligi tespit edilmistir.

This study titled as “Social and Economical Investigation of Furniture Manufacturing Enterprises of Kayseri Province” was prepared for Master’s thesis in Bartın University, Graduate School of Applied Sciences, Department of Forest Products Engineering, Forest Industry Machinery and Administration Science Branch. Industrial productions on a sector basis are more intensified in some regions depending on degree of sustainability of certain production factors. In forest industry area, Kayseri is one of those intensified provinces. By looking at the forest industry data of our country, Kayseri is one of the leading provinces regarding production and exportation of forest products, although this region is listed on the bottom according to forest value, low population, lack of qualified employees and abundance of using old technology. The sustainability of the current status will be possible by following the developments and trends closely in the world. However, those developments are happening very rapidly and this will be very difficult to follow and apply the necessary changes. Apart from the outside of the world, domestic developments and events contribute to the rising of the important results. It is known that Kayseri, especially in the forest products industry, especially in the furniture industry has shown great improvement in the last 20 years. Especially Kayseri went to institutionalization and branding in this sector. With this, Kayseri opened its way to foreign markets and has been remarkable region for export and import rates in Turkey and in the world. In 2001, after the economic crisis passed, Kayseri never slowed down and has shown that it is one step ahead. Taking those affecting factors into account, the current status of furniture industry was determined by a questionnaire developed by face to face interviews of entrepreneurs, the problems were identified and solutions were try to be offered. The evaluation of the results shown that, in terms of number of employees, capacity utilization increases as the enterprises get larger. Parallel to this, number of qualified employees is also increased. Similarly, the size of the enterprises is increased if occupational standards are taking into account, they are in close relationship to various institutes and new administrative developments are closely followed. It was also determined that as the size of the enterprise increases, amount of furniture manufactured and use of technology is also increased. Furthermore, the raw materials are obtained from other resources not from forest directorate. And also there is lack of capacity because of current market conditions.
