SCAMPER tekniğine dayalı etkinliklerin yaratıcı düşünmeye ve akademik başarıya etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul 7. Sınıf öğrencilerinin fen bilimleri dersi " Elektrik Devreleri" ünitesinde scamper tekniğinin kullanılmasının öğrencilerin yaratıcı düşünmesine ve akademik başarısına etkilerini araştırmak, öğrencilerin scamper tekniği üzerine görüşlerinin ve fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin scamper tekniği üzerine farkındalıklarının belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test – son test eşitlenmemiş kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılacaktır. Araştırma çalışma grubunu 2021 – 2022 eğitim öğretim yılı 2. döneminde, Bartın ili Amasra İlçesi Fatih Sultan Mehmet Ortaokulu 7. Sınıf öğrencileri ile birlikte yürütülecektir. Araştırmanın uygulanma içeriğini 7. Sınıf düzeyinde yer alan Elektrik Devreleri ünitesi içermektedir. Araştırma da nicel ve nitel veriler elde edilecektir. Nicel verilerin elde edilmesinde Elektrik Devreleri Başarı Testi ön test son test olarak kullanılacaktır. Araştırma öncesi EDBT pilot uygulama yapılarak şekillendirilecektir. Scamper tekniğinin öğrencilerin yaratıcılığına etkisini belirlemek amacı ile Whetton ve Cameron (2002)'dan alınan ve Aksoy (2004) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan "Ne Kadar Yaratıcısınız?" ölçeği kullanılacaktır. Nitel verilerin elde edilmesinde de Scamper tekniği ile ilgili öğrenci görüşlerini belirlemek amacı ile araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Scamper Tekniği Öğrenci Görüşleri (STÖG) yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanacaktır. Yine fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin scamper tekniği üzerine farkındalıklarının belirlenmesi için anket çalışması yapılacaktır. Çalışma da kontrol grubu ve deney grubu belirlenecektir. Deney grubu ve kontrol grubu belirlenirken olasılık temelli örnekleme yöntemi olan seçkisiz ( basit rasgele örneklem seçimi ) yöntemi kullanılacaktır. Deney grubuna scamper tekniğinin kullanıldığı öğretim programı planlanacak, kontrol grubuna ise dersin öğretim programına uygun geleneksel ders planlaması yapılacaktır. Araştırmanın uygulaması basamağı olarak öncelikle deney ve kontrol grubuna ön test olarak Elektrik Devreleri Başarı Testi uygulanacaktır. İki grupta da uygulana ders programı sonrasında deney ve kontrol grubuna son test uygulaması gerçekleştirilecektir. Bu uygulamalardan elde edilecek veriler ışığında scamper tekniği ile işlenen dersin, akademik başarıya etkisinin olup olmadığı görülecektir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin scamper tekniği üzerine görüşlerini belirlemek için kullanılacak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile öğrencilerin scamper tekniği ile ilgili görüşlerine ait veriler elde edilecektir. Elde edilecek verilerin analizinde nicel ve nitel analiz yöntemleri birlikte kullanılacaktır. Nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS22 paket programı kullanılarak nicel analiz yöntemleri, nitel verilerin analizinde MAXQDA 20 programı ile nitel analiz yöntemlerinden içerik analizi kullanılacaktır.

The purpose of this research is to find that middle school 7. To investigate the effects of the use of scamper technique on students' creative thinking and academic success in the science course "Electrical Circuits" unit of the students, to determine the students' views on scamper technique and the awareness of science teachers on scamper technique. In the research, preliminary test from quantitative research methods – the final test will be used as a semi-experimental pattern with unequal control group. The research working group was held in the 2nd semester of the 2021 – 2022 academic year, at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Middle School in Amasra District, Bartin Province. It will be carried out with the students of the class. The content of the application of the research is 7. It includes a class-level Electrical Circuits unit. Quantitative and qualitative data will be obtained in the research. The Electrical Circuits Success Test pre-test will be used as the final test in obtaining quantitative data. EDBT will be shaped bypilot application before the research. The "How Creative Are You?" scale, taken from Whetton and Cameron (2002) and adapted into Turkish by Aksoy (2004), will be used to determine the effect of scamper technique on students' creativity. In order to determine the student opinions related to scamper technique, the Scamper Technique Student Opinions (NGO) semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers will be applied in the acquisition of qualitative data. Again, a survey will be conducted to determine the awareness of science teachers on scamper technique. The control group and the experimental group will be determined in the study. When determining the experimental group and control group, the non-selective (simple random sample selection) method, which is a probability-based sampling method, will be used. The experimental group will be planned the curriculum using scamper technique, and the control group will be planning traditional courses in accordance with the curriculum. As a step of application of the research, electrical circuits success test will be applied as a preliminary test to the experimental and control group. After the course program applied in both groups, the final test application will be carried out to the experimental and control group. In the light of the data to be obtained from these applications, it will be seen whether the course processed with scamper technique has an effect on academic success. In addition, the semi-structured interview form to be used to determine the students' opinions on scamper technique will obtain data on the students' opinions about scamper technique. Quantitative and qualitative analysis methods will be used together in the analysis of the data to be obtained. Quantitative analysis methods using spss22 package program in analysis of quantitative data, MAXQDA 20 program and content analysis from qualitative analysis methods will be used in the analysis of qualitative data.
