dc.description.abstractIn this study the concepts of “retrospective”, “prospective” and “introspective” will first be defined to scrutinize them under the umbrella of Translation Studies. In addition, a new conceptual suggestion titled “integrated retro-prospective translation theory” within TS will be offered in detail and evaluated in today’s world of translation. The effect of introspective translation approaches on the translation process and whether these can be evaluated under the category of the translation theories or at least whether they can be supplements for the theory of translations or not will also be discussed to make our suggestion more valid. Descriptive and argumentative methods were used in the study.en_US
